With its own participation in the Unisafe research project, TU Dresden is addressing the phenomenon of sexualised harassment, discrimination and violence at universities. The workshop therefore begins with an overview of definitions and statistical figures. Project coordinator and workshop leader Anja Wiede (contact person for harassment, discrimination and violence at TU Dresden) then works with the participants on their own attitudes and possible prejudices on the topic. Nevertheless, the focus is on the support options for these incidents, because even if most people do not have to experience sexualised harassment, discrimination and violence as victims, many find themselves as so-called ‘bystanders’ ((un)aware witnesses). In the sense of a collective responsibility, the participants therefore develop their own intervention options.
